Overview

The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam is a professional certification program offered by the CFA Institute, a global non-profit organization. The exam is designed to measure and validate the competence and integrity of investment professionals worldwide.

Three Levels

The CFA program consists of three levels of examinations. Level I focuses on foundational investment tools and basic concepts of ethics and financial reporting. Requirements

Content Coverage

The exam covers ten core topics: ethical and professional standards, quantitative methods, economics, financial reporting and analysis, corporate finance, equity investments, fixed income, derivatives, alternative investments, and portfolio management. Each level builds upon previous knowledge and increases in complexity.

Global Recognition

The CFA charter is recognized globally as a mark of expertise in the investment industry. It is required or preferred for many positions in investment management, banking, and financial analysis.
